As night falls over Melbourne, the city’s most innovative young business minds are set to come together for a vibrant celebration of business talent at the Young Entrepreneur Awards.
Hailing from a diverse range of industries and backgrounds, and all at different stages of their entrepreneurial journeys, these bright founders will gather at the Park Hyatt to honour their accomplishments while sparking new connections, ideas and collaborations.
The event promises to showcase exceptional talent, from disruptive artificial intelligence (AI) businesses that were launched just recently through to ASX-listed heavyweights in both the health and music industries, with everything in between from clothing and fitness companies expanding internationally through to food and beverage brands, athlete insurance specialists, builders, furniture designers and the tech titans of tomorrow.
This year’s cohort boasts a staggering collective turnover of $639 million and has created more than 6,000 jobs, showcasing the dynamic and thriving business landscape of Melbourne.
This turnover figure is up 10 per cent year-on-year, and makes the Victorian capital a national leader on this metric yet again within the nationwide initiative, in addition to total profit.
Founder of Business News Australia and the Young Entrepreneur Awards, Camilla Jansen, says the finalists are a vibrant reflection of the innovative spirit that defines Melbourne.
