Logistics and freight forwarding group Neolink has acquired the global forwarding division of RIF Logistics AU for an undisclosed sum in a move that expands its national footprint and customer base while bringing new talent into the Sydney-headquartered company's network.
Key RIF team members including Mark Heaney and Adam Dawes will join Neolink in key roles to ensure "continuity, trust, and success for every customer they have supported".
"This is more than a transaction - it's a partnership we want to build with our new customers, suppliers and all key stakeholders," says Neolink director and co-founder Sean Crook.
"We are aligned in our values, our customer-first mindset, and our commitment to long-term operational excellence. Our focus from day one has been to make this a seamless transition for customers, team members, and partners alike."
RIF's forwarding division, which prior to the acquisition was part of the Australian arm of the UK-based group of the same name, will have access to Neolink's digital tools including Logix board - a real-time visibility platform that simplifies freight tracking, enhances communication and streamlines service delivery.
"Our sincerest thanks go to [co-founder and CEO] Scott Sully and the entire team at RIF group," says Neolink director and co-founder Chris Makhoul.
"This transition was made possible through mutual respect, professionalism, and cultural alignment. It's a credit to how RIF has operated across the market, and we're proud to build on that legacy."
