Sydney-based software aggregator Software Combined Group has scooped up content removal company Removify in the group’s 10th acquisition since inception in 2020.
Based in Melbourne, and with operations in the US and Europe, Removify is a fast-growing company that helps companies “fight trolls” by helping them manage their online reputation using custom-developed online reputation management software.
Software Combined Group says the acquisition will position Removify for further growth backed by its extensive experience in consolidated support, strategic direction and guidance.
The deal for Removify, financial details of which have not been disclosed, comes less than three months after Software Combined acquired home energy rating company Hero Software.
The acquisitions build on the group’s aggregation of companies in industries such as database disaster recovery, retail pricing solutions, and mining industry business solutions.

Software Combined says Removify has experienced strong growth in recent years by solving challenges for its clients “amid a global surge in negative, misleading and false content online”.
Removify was founded by digital entrepreneurs Nick Bell and Andrew Whitford in a move to thwart the rise of “keyboard warriors” who post false, unwarranted and hurtful online content.
The company provides reputation management including illegitimate review removal, while also providing a service to collect positive reviews through automated feedback requests.
Its systems draw partly on artificial intelligence (AI) and the company has successfully delivered reputational improvement outcomes for thousands of companies globally on commonly accessed, global online platforms.
