99 BIKES WHEELS INTO CANNON HILL

99 BIKES has added another location to its expanding network, after leasing a retail showroom at Cannon Hill.

The bicycle retailer and repairer has inked a deal on the 300sqm showroom, plus storage area.

The premises on Wynnum Road was negotiated by Jonathon Jones and Rhiannon Jones of Ray White Commercial Brisbane Trade Coast.

Jones says the location boasts prime street frontage offers exposure to motorists and local residents.

"This is an ideal location for the latest Brisbane store for 99 Bikes," he says.

"It's on a prominent corner position and has great signage opportunities.

"There's ducted air-conditioning throughout the showroom, which has front doors facing onto Wynnum Road with a rear roller door and side door access via Muir Street."

The lease will run for five years with a five year option, at a gross annual rent of $80,000.

The Brisbane-based company has developed a strong-hold in south east Queensland, as well as owns a number of outlets in Sydney and Melbourne.

"99 Bikes is certainly the bike shop for riders in Brisbane's eastern suburbs as  it has outlets at Morningside, Murrarie, Bulimba, Balmoral, Carindale, Tingalpa, Camp Hill, Coorparoo and now Cannon Hill," Jones says.

The Cannon Hill store is open seven days a week and stocks road bikes, mountain bikes, commuter bikes, BMX and kids bikes.

99 Bikes is headed by Matthew Turner, the son of Flight Centre founder Graham Turner.
