BLUES IS BACK

BLUES IS BACK
AWARD winning festival Blues on Broadbeach returns to the Gold Coast this weekend, and is expected to boost the economy by more than $12 million.

Running from 22-25 May, over 60 performers will deliver more than 330 hours of entertainment for attendees.

The Minister for Tourism, Major Events, Small Business and the Commonwealth Games Jann Stuckey says Blues on Broadbeach is quickly becoming one of the state’s largest music festivals.

“Each year the highly-anticipated Blues on Broadbeach festival attracts tens of thousands of fans to the Gold Coast,” says Stuckey.

“Last year’s event is estimated to have delivered an economic impact of $12.3 million; this year’s incredible artist line-up sets the stage for a bigger and better event in 2014.”

Performers set to take the stage include DIESEL, Russell Morris and the Time of My Life Band featuring Daryl Braithwaite, Joe Camilleri, James Reyne and Ross Wilson.
