BROOKFIELD LAUNCHES MOST LUXURIOUS PROJECT IN QLD YET

BROOKFIELD Residential Properties will tap into increasing demand for waterfront property with the launch of a new $144 million development in Brisbane.

Gallery House will comprise one, two and three-bedroom apartments and penthouses across 20 levels near the developer's residential community Portside Wharf in Hamilton.

Brookfield Residential Properties general manager Lee Butterworth says the project was expected to attract luxury buyers and investors.

"Gallery House will set a new standard in apartment living in Hamilton and become the most luxurious property in Brookfield's Queensland portfolio," Butterworth says.

"We have worked closely with renowned architect, Cottee Parker, to design a building that connects with the river and emanates a sense of tranquillity and warmth.

"While Gallery House will cultivate a relaxed lifestyle, its location within Northshore Hamilton and proximity to Eat Street Markets and restaurants, retailers and conveniences of Portside Wharf, means residents will also enjoy the connectedness of an inner-city suburb."

Gallery House will feature three collections offering different features and finishes to appeal to investors, young professionals, families or retirees.

The Sky Collection on the top five levels all have at least three bedrooms with many also including a multipurpose room.

The River Collection spans 12 levels with either two or three bedrooms and two car spaces, while the City Collection is made up of one and two bedroom apartments with balconies. Apartments start from $362,000.

Butterworth says the success at Pinnacle at Portside Wharf demonstrates demand for high-end apartments in the area.

"After strong sales in Pinnacle, Brookfield Residential Properties has decided it is the right time to release our next riverfront residential development," he says.

"Gallery House will focus on the owner-occupier market but will have enormous appeal to astute investors looking for a premium product.

"We expect to see a lot of interest in the coming weeks through our registration of interest campaign as we prepare to bring the property to the market."

Gallery House will become Brookfield's seventh apartment project in Northshore Hamilton.
