DEVINE LOCKS IN ANOTHER APARTMENT DEAL WORTH $150M

DEVINE Limited (ASX:DVN) has secured a $150 million construction contract, to develop Walker Corporation’s new apartment project in Brisbane.

In-house team Devine Constructions will develop Westmark Milton, two towers up to 20 storeys tall at Railway Terrace.

The deal comes off the back of two other external client projects, including Pointcorp Development’s Vida apartments and Chrome Properties’ Alex Perry building.

Managing director and CEO David Keir (pictured) says a design review is underway, with construction expected to commence in late July.

“We are very pleased to have been awarded the construction contract on this landmark project for Walker Corporation and look forward to a strong relationship into the future.

“In recent years, we have successfully built a number of developments in Brisbane, drawing on our expertise in design, construction and project management,” he says.

Keir says the apartment market is a key area of focus, with the construction team expanding to provide services outside of the Devine Group in recent years.

The project will deliver 277 one and two bedroom apartments and ground level retailers.
