Effective restructuring

THE Chamber of Commerce & Industry Queensland’s senior workplace relations consultant, Margaret Darwin, is presenting a seminar ‘effective restructuring – minimising the human cost’. The economic downturn has forced businesses to align more closely with their bottom line. Companies need to ensure productivity while strategically managing their resources. Companies of the future must be designed to adapt consistently and quickly to a changing environment.
This session will look at factors which contribute to inadequate implementation of a restructure, taking into account the importance of minimising collateral damage as well as the human costs, by ensuring that the company:
• Builds a strategy
• Designs a model to support the strategy
• Establishes outcomes
• Designs a robust change program
• Projects a time frame for managing the change
• Becomes a responsive and productive company
The seminar will be held at Conrad Jupiters, on April 7 from 7am. More info at: www.cciq.com.au.
