SMARTPRINT Fleet Management continues to make the big deals needed to maintain its impressive growth.
In just six years the Gaven-based business has grown to employ 14 staff and turnover $11.5 million at a growth rate of 91.4 per cent last year.
Founder Jason Ganis (pictured) says Smartprint has sewn up two deals with a multi-billion dollar manufacturer and distributor.
It will allow his managed print services (MPS) business to boost the value of its deals from the thousands to the millions in coming years. Ganis expects they could quadruple Smartprint’s revenue.
“This is a game changer,” says Ganis.
“We see the industry changing quite rapidly and have always been at the forefront and as a result have forged partnerships with some of the largest entities globally.
“We got told by one of them that our services ‘shine’ and it is great to get that kind of input from a global player in international managed print services.”
Ganis was not in a position to disclose the names of the companies at the time, but an announcement is expected this month.
Smartprint already has partnerships in place with HP, Xerox, Canon, konica Minolta, Toshiba, Samsung and Lexmark.
Smartprint is up for an international award from the Managed Print Services Association and Ganis travelled to Orlando in the United States in May to attend the awards ceremony. It has also been nominated for a Telstra Business Award.
The business has one billion prints under management after being established in 2005, and the business moved to the Gold Coast in 2009.
Ganis and fellow director Justin McShane set out to develop an outsource print management solution delivering increased service levels, automation and large cost savings.
They saw a gap in the market because many businesses managed their copiers and printers under separate arrangements. Smartprint brings it all under one banner for streamlined management and significant cost savings.
Clients pay Smartprint per print, with hardware offered under the contract.
