JUPITERS STEALS THE SHOW AT AWARDS NIGHT

The awards are another major achievement for the Gold Coast casino, off the back of its $345 million renovation.

Japanese restaurant Kiyomi received 'Best Prestige Restaurant' with its cutting-edge dining style, its third major award win since opening the doors in December last year.

Kiyomi's executive head chef Chase Kojima recently won 'Chef of the Year' at the Australian Hotels Association 2015 National Awards for Excellence.

The restaurant's head bartender Thomas Angel (pictured) also received an award for 'Best Employee Food & Beverage'. The streak continued with Cucina Vivo winning 'Best Restaurant Accommodation Division'.

Queensland managing director Geoff Hogg says the casino's victories were well-deserved recognition for the devoted team that attends to millions of people every year.

"These accolades are a credit to our phenomenal team who continue to impress both industry peers and guests with their attention to detail and dedication to providing world-class dining experiences," Hogg says.

The QHA Awards for Excellence paid testament to parent company Echo Entertainment Group's successful year with its sister property Treasury Casino & Hotel winning 'Most Outstanding Community Service & Achievement 100+ Employees' award.

The Treasury received praise for its ongoing commitment to the local community and many off-property public efforts for Cerebral Palsy League Queensland and Ronald McDonald House South East Queensland.

"To have our two Queensland properties named as finalists in seven categories was an honour, but to be awarded wins in four of those seven and be recognised as the biggest winner of the night is an astounding achievement for the team," Hogg says.

Jupiters and Treasury's success at the Queensland Hotels Association Awards capped off a record start to the financial year for Echo Entertainment Group.
