NATIONAL AWARD FOR SHARKS FITNESS

NATIONAL AWARD FOR SHARKS FITNESS

FITNESS Australia (FA) has awarded a Gold Quality Award to Sharks Fitness Centre, Gold Coast.

The award is granted to businesses that achieve quality across customer service, programs, people, safety and business management.

FA CEO Lauretta Stace says Sharks and Fitness Enhancement are the only Coast fitness centres out of 70 nation-wide to be recognised by the award system this year.

“The team at Southport Sharks should be proud of its achievement,” says Stace.

“The Quality Awards are the highest accolade that our industry can award to a fitness provider.

“Sharks Fitness Centre’s customers can be confident that they are with one of the very best fitness providers in the country.”

Southport Sharks business development general manager Daragh Murphy says the nod from the industry’s peak body pays tribute to Sharks’dedicated staff and members.

“This award is a significant achievement for our team here at Southport Sharks and endorses our approach in providing exceptional service to our members and visitors,” says Murphy.

“It also reinforces our shared desire to continually challenge ourselves to improve every aspect of what we do.”

He says Sharks Fitness is dedicated to “demystifying the term ‘fitness’, reducing perceived barriers and endorse a friendly non-daunting approach while also promoting the health benefits a gym can provide”.

“We focus on providing a wide range of fitness options for a diverse membership base; our customers range from teenagers to those in their 80s.

“We strive to provide a welcoming and non-intimidating environment to all new-comers.”
