PWR LAPS THE COMPETITION

CUSTOM building radiators and oil coolers from its Ormeau workshop, PWR Performance Products has created a brand synonymous with the most successful motorsport teams in the world.

The majority of Australian V8 Supercars, several European Formula One teams and a significant percentage of US NASCAR race cars represent just some of the world’s ‘PWR-cooled’ vehicles.

Away from motorsport, the Gold Coast performance brand has a strong following with street car enthusiasts and is securing more OEM contracts, including cooling Aston Martin’s latest V12 supercar, the One-77.

“The winning results our customers are achieving are a great indication that we’re providing the right solutions. It’s been an overnight success that’s taken many years,” says general manager Marshall Vann (pictured).

“Because of the technical nature of what we do, we don’t face competition from mass production markets in Asia or cheaper manufacturers. Aside from some aftermarket bolt-on kits for street cars, our engineers’ custom-build everything to a clients specifications.”

The PWR factory includes a state-of-the-art wind tunnel that simulates extreme conditions for testing purposes. Aside from precision engineering, Vann says PWR’s diversification across all key auto markets has been critical to the company’s ongoing success.
