Hosted by Carla Tooma, the awards are the night of nights for the Gold Coast's young entrepreneurs.
The Young Entrepreneur Awards showcase Australia's top business leaders aged under 40, who have built a thriving business, delivered innovation, led social change or forged a path to turn their dream into reality. The initiative supports the growth of local economies. The award has unearthed more than 100 nominees, demonstrating the strength of the Gold Coast's healthy scene of innovators and game changers.
These entrepreneurs are making a significant contribution to the Gold Coast's economy, collectively turning over $180 million and creating more than 1,000 jobs. This year is the first time the brand new category of Infleuencers has been added into the fold, considering the substantial businesses our finalists have built off the backs of Instagram and YouTube presences alone.
