TRESSCOX RAISES INTERNATIONAL PROFILE

TRESSCOX Lawyers has ushered in a new partner to its Brisbane corporate and commercial team.

Simon Harrison has extensive experience in Australia, the Middle East and the United Kingdom, working across corporate, commercial and government.

He has worked on client advisory for issues involving agribusiness and food and water security, clean and alternative energies, energy infrastructure development and management, mining and natural resources, climate change, sustainability, carbon management and trading, and environmental policy and regulation in both contentious and non-contentious matters.

A multi-faceted professional, Harrison is also chair of the Arab Australia Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Queensland and an academic, working as adjunct professor at The University of Queensland in the areas of food security, mining, energy, resources and climate change regulation.

Harrison previously worked as a partner for United States firm Squire Patton Boggs in the Middle East and Australia.
