THE Property Council of Australia is hosting a ‘Greater Springfield’ breakfast. Greater Springfield has been labelled Australia’s most exciting masterplanned city. With unprecedented expected population growth – Springfield’s strategy to attract 30,000 jobs to the city is in full swing.
This breakfast will provide an overview on the commercial development opportunities within Greater Springfield including an outline of the major achievement of operating Springfield Central on a single information and communication technology (ICT) platform. Also discussed will be the challenges and opportunities associated with the development of the city’s technological showpiece - the $230 million Polaris Data Centre, which is the most advanced purpose-built data storage facility in Australia. The vision for the Greater Springfield CBD along with the opportunities and future plans for the Region will also be discussed.
Guest speakers will include Mike Andrea, director, Strategic Directions, and Chris Schroor, executive officer – commercial development, Springfield Land Corporation. The breakfast will take place at the Sofitel Hotel from 7:00am.
