The golf day takes place on Friday May 9, followed by the 14th anniversary of the ball on Saturday evening.
Bruce Lynton Prestige Automotive Group dealer principal Beric Lynton says the event’s sole purpose is to support the local community.“The Bruce Lynton Charity Ball receives incredible support from both local and interstate businesses through the donation of silent and grand auction items for which we cannot thank them enough.
“This year we have managed to secure twelve grand auction items equal to or over the value of $7,500 each as well as a record 213 silent auction items. The support from the local community has been absolutely overwhelming,” he says.More than $1.4 million dollars has been raised for charity since the event’s inception, going towards Cancer Council Queensland, Guide Dogs Queensland, Surf Life Saving, Men Of Business and Youngcare.
