Insolvency partner seizes opportunity at Piper Alderman

Joanne Hardwick (pictured) has joined Piper Alderman's insolvency and reconstruction team, a move which she says is an exciting opportunity for herself and the future of the firm.

Hardwick has worked alongside industry leaders and has both Australian and international experience in commercial litigation, insolvency and reconstruction law.

The opportunity to join Piper Alderman is something Hardwick says will help her grow in the industry.

Following Piper Alderman's merger with Norton Gledhill in October last year, she's also looking forward to supporting the firm's new direction.

"Piper Alderman has been on my radar for the last 12 months," she says.

"The firm's recent merger with Norton Gledhill has boosted its corporate credentials in Melbourne making it an attractive option."

"The firm's full service offering in Melbourne will provide me with the opportunity to grow my practice and to service my clients' various legal needs."

"I'm excited to be joining the firm and being part of a leading Victorian and national insolvency and reconstruction law team.

Insolvency and reconstruction law partner Michael Lhuede says Hardwicks expertise will help the firm deepen its relationships with clients.

"Joanne is a highly respected and skilled practitioner within the Melbourne insolvency industry," he says.

"Her practice is very much aligned with our existing offering... the skills, experience and relationships she has will help us continue to build upon the foundations of our existing practice and deepen our relationships with our key clients in line with our strategic goals.

"It is very pleasing to know that Joanne's referrers have already endorsed her decision to join Piper Alderman. "
