MOTORAMA JOINS RACE FOR CANCER RESEARCH

MOTORAMA JOINS RACE FOR CANCER RESEARCH

THE 5th annual Great Brisbane Duck Race will hit the water on Riverside Drive at West End to raise money for cancer research.

Every ticket and duck sold at the Sunday October 30 event helps raise funds for the PA Research Foundation, Queensland’s largest translational research institute.

Motorama is a major sponsor of this year’s event. By adopting a single duck for $5, participants have the chance to become the owner of new car to the value of $20,000, donated by Motorama.

Motorama City Holden dealer principal Carl Martin is thrilled to be involved in the event and excited about raising money and awareness for the PA Research Foundation.

“It’s a great cause and we’re extremely excited and proud to be partnering with an event that encourages the Brisbane community to get involved,” he says.

“Our biggest goal is to raise awareness and show our support for cancer research and those battling the disease.”

Over the last four years the Duck Race has raised more than $300,000. The funds are allocated to worldclass researchers at the PA hospital in the areas of prostate cancer research, breast cancer research, Leukaemia research and skin cancer research.

The winning prize value can be increased up to a maximum value of $50,000 by adopting a duck at motorama.com.au, so get quacking.
