NEW DIGS FOR DLA PIPER

NEW DIGS FOR DLA PIPER

DLA Piper has moved into its new home at 480 Queen Street, a premium grade office tower completed this year by Grocon and Dexus Property.

DLA Piper, one of the first two tenants to officially move into the building, has secured a large single 'park rise' floor in the 34-level building.

Brisbane managing partner Jim Holding says the move is an exciting time for both staff and clients, providing a more flexible and collegiate working environment.

"We have created a new, open-plan collaborative workplace environment which will enable our people to provide the best possible support to our clients," says Holding.

"DLA Piper's global business model is to be strong internationally with a deep local presence.

"Our Brisbane office is part of a wider global firm which is committed to and already well embedded in the Queensland market."

The office has been designed to reflect several unique elements inspired by Brisbane itself, and includes the latest in audio visual technology as well as a large open-plan function space, community zones, quiet rooms and workstation hubs.

Key consultants who worked with DLA Piper on the design and fitout include design specialists Woods Bagot, project managers Spitfire Control and construction managers Shape.
