NEW MODELS HERALD EXCITING YEAR FOR SOUTHPORT DEALERSHIP

THE Bruce Lynton Group has had an exciting start to 2013 with anticipation surrounding the launch of new models across a number of brands.

Australia’s longest serving BMW dealer also sells the MINI, Land Rover, Alfa Romeo and Fiat Marques and Bruce Lynton Quality Cars, which specialise in quality used vehicles.

There has been a high volume of enquiries about the all new BMW 4 Series and all new BMW X5 due for release in the last quarter of the year, while current models are still generating high demand.

“While we get ready for the arrival of the all new BMW X5, with official photos released last week, we are experiencing a high demand for the current model,” says Dealer Principal Beric Lynton.

“The BMW X5 is the second highest selling BMW model for us.”

In March, the group launched the all new MINI Paceman creating more excitement around the MINI range. Alfa Romeo and Fiat have also re-positioned many of their products in early 2013, leading to a large increase in enquiries and sales. Both brands will have further products arriving later in the year.

“The Fiat 500 range has models starting below $20,000 on-road drive away,” says Lynton.

“With the recent arrival of the Fiat Freemont we've seen an even further increase in enquiry levels.”

An avid racer, Lynton built the BMW 1M together with legendary designer Ralph Bellamy in 2012, adding to his impressive car collection.

His father, Bruce Lynton, raced for many years, inspiring Beric to compete in races Australia wide including the Bathurst 12 and 24 Hour Race, multiple Australian Performance Car Championships, Australian Production Car Championships, MINI Challenge and the Nurburgring 24 Hour Race in Germany.

This year the team will also compete in the Australian Manufacturers Championship, a Production Car Series.

The group has also recently acquired Stephen Goodall Panel and Paint, now called the Bruce Lynton Bodyshop, as well as becoming the new home to Gold Coast Chery and Gold Coast SsangYong.

A second-generation family owned and operated business, the Bruce Lynton Group has a well-earned reputation for integrity, loyalty and mutual respect having served the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers areas for over 39 years.
