BAULDY'S PROJECT UP FOR AWARD

THE Property Council of Australia has named Kelvin Grove’s mixed-use development 44 Musk Avenue as a finalist for the Levett Bucknall Innovation and Excellence Award.

The Baulderstone development was named as a finalist for the management, design, construction and funding of the 20,000 sqm building in the Kelvin Grove Urban Village.

Baulderstone Queensland general manager Stephen Green says he is grateful for the recognition for the project, which also helps its tenants the Red Cross and Queensland University of Technology (QUT), service the community.

“Baulderstone Queensland has been very proud of building such an important and challenging development for Brisbane and to be recognised by our industry peers through being a finalist in this award nomination is an honour,” says Green.

“The Kelvin Grove precinct is booming and this project has enhanced the appeal of this area and the lifestyle of its residents.

“The location and amenity interested us so much that we moved the Baulderstone Queensland head office into the completed building as a demonstration of the confidence we have in this Urban Village precinct.”

The awards will be held later in the year.
