BRISBANE POLO CLUB'S FATE HANGS IN BALANCE

BRISBANE POLO CLUB'S FATE HANGS IN BALANCE

THE fate of the Brisbane Polo Club will be decided this morning at a board meeting.

The club's future came under a cloud earlier this week when the heritage-listed Naldham House was sold to Singapore developer Koh Wee Meng for $10 million.

The billionaire is believed to have submitted the unsolicited offer for the property earlier this month to add to his growing property portfolio in Australia.

The deal is expected to lead to the closure of the club which has occupied the 126-year-old building for the past 25 years.

Brisbane Polo Club declined to comment, although it has been reported that the club will close.

It remains unclear what Koh Wee Meng's has planned for his Brisbane investment.
