BROOKFIELD WRAPS UP SECOND PORTSIDE WHARF PROJECT

PINNACLE at Portside Wharf is ready to open its doors to apartment owners, after Brookfield Residential Properties finalised the project.

The 15-level luxury apartment building is the second project to be completed by the developer in a matter of weeks, following the opening of Link.

Total sales in Pinnacle have now reached more than $93 million, representing more than 70 per cent of the total 162 apartments.

Brookfield Residential Properties general manager Lee Butterworth says the completion of Pinnacle was a major milestone for Portside Wharf.

"Pinnacle is the sixth residential building to reach completion at Portside Wharf and it delivers highly liveable, luxurious apartments many which boast river and city views," Butterworth says.

"The strong off-the-plan sales indicate that the quality, layout, mix of product and location have hit the mark with buyers and the completion of two residential buildings in such quick succession, Link and now Pinnacle, is exciting for the precinct and is testament to what we are creating here at Portside Wharf."

Pinnacle has a mix of one, two and three bedroom apartments, two-level terrace homes and three bedroom penthouses.

Butterworth says the majority of residents moving in will be owner occupiers from the surrounding area.

"The lively precinct is the social hub of the Inner North and the backbone of the entire Northshore Hamilton development the city's largest urban renewal project that is set to become home to some 15,000 residents over the next 20 years," he says.

"Located in an enviable pocket of Brisbane, residents have easy access to key economic areas, airports, motorways and public transport, and the $650 million investment by the Queensland Government to upgrade Kingsford Smith Drive will only serve to strengthen Portside Wharf's appeal.

"We expect with Pinnacle now complete, the lure of being able to move straight into your new luxury apartment will see the final apartments sell quickly."

Portside Wharf has chalked up almost $510 million in residential sales.
