Building excellence recognised

MASTER Builders is hosting a night of razzle, dazzle and a string of awards. Join the team at Conrad Jupiters for the annual Housing and Construction Awards 2009.

The awards recognise those at the forefront of building innovation and excellence in the housing and construction industry. Master Builders regional manager, John Duncalfe says the awards are a great way for builders to get public and industry recognition, especially in these strained economic times.

“Winning an award provides an excellent platform for public acclaim and is a great publicity tool that builders can use to set their business apart from the competition,
“The awards cater for entrants ranging from apprentices to trade contractors and small family businesses to the biggest names in the industry,” says Duncalfe.

The overall success of the Housing and Construction awards can be contributed to the expansive range of awards categories that include specialities such as Housing for Sloping Sites, Home renovations/Remodelling, and Best Heritage Style. With more than 20 different housing categories for display and contract homes, there is an award to suit any home, project or budget.

There is also a broad range of award categories for the commercial sector including Retail Facilities, Industrial Buildings, and Hospitality Facilities.

Major winners in 2008 include Ingles Homes, which won House of the Year Award, and Watpac Australia, who took out the Project of the Year.

The awards are a great opportunity for builders to showcase their skills and winners of the regional awards go on to be judged in the sate finals, with the state winners announced in October.

2009 will see the event held at the Ballroom of Conrad Jupiters hosted by the popular radio presenter Luke Bradnam with entertainment from the superb opera duo Liza & Lachlan with their Swing, Swoon & Sway performance.More info at: www.masterbuilders.asn.au
