BUSINESS NEWS AUSTRALIA AND GCCCC ALIGN

BUSINESS News Australia and the Gold Coast Central Chamber of Commerce (GCCCC) have announced a partnership that promises to be a boon to business for both organisations.

GCCCC have appointed Business News Australia to manage its administration and events going forward.

Following an amalgamation a couple of years ago, the GCCCC incorporates the Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Burleigh, Varsity, Robina and Nerang Chambers.

GCCCC president Peter Yared says the agreement marks a milestone for the Chamber and will allow it to expand its capabilities.

"The GCCCC committee is pleased to be able to announce that the Gold Coast's multi-award winning publisher of Gold Coast Business News, Business News Australia, will manage the administration and events for the Chamber," says Yared.

"Business News Australia has a strong presence in the business community and will bring a great deal of experience in media relations, event management, sales, marketing and graphic design to our organisation including assisting with the management of our breakfasts, networking events, social days and annual business showcase.

"This is a milestone agreement that will benefit all of our members as the Chamber builds on the success of the past to bring about meaningful change for the business community as the Gold Coast continues to show signs of recovery in the lead-up to the 2018 Commonwealth Games and beyond."

Business News Australia managing director Camilla Jansen says the new relationship with GCCCC is a natural fit for the diversified publishing group.

Chamber members will also be rewarded by being the first to know about Business News Australia's initiatives and events including the Gold Coast Young Entrepreneur Awards and the PGA's Champion's Club Business Networking Day.

"Our team has been briefed on this exciting opportunity and we are ready to drive a new era of growth for the Chamber," says Jansen.

"The Chamber has a strong membership and a voice that needs to heard by the broader community.

"We plan to engage with that community across a number of platforms, including events, in order to connect in a way that few chambers on the Gold Coast have in the past.

"Business News Australia is committed to helping the Chamber grow and thrive as the Gold Coast heads into one of the most exciting periods in its history."

The partnership came into effect Monday 20 October.
