CARTER NEWELL CELEBRATES INDUSTRY RECOGNITION

THE team at Carter Newell are celebrating the achievements of 11 of the firm's staff who have been named in the Best Lawyers in Australia listing for 2017.

The lawyers are recognised for excellence in their specific practice in areas ranging from corporate law to natural resource law.

Senior Partner Paul Hopkins is among the names being recognised for his leading work in the aviation, insurance and litigation spaces.

Patrick Mead, Rebecca Stevens, Bronwyn Clarkson, Mark Brookes, David Rodighiero, James Plumb, Stephen White, Andrew Shute, Matt Couper and Shannon O'Hara have been recognised as leaders in their practice areas.

In addition to his achievement in the Best Lawyers listing, Paul Hopkins has also been nominated for Law Firm leader of the Year in the upcoming 2017 Australasian Law Awards.

Carter Newell will be contending other finalists across three separate categories in the same awards ceremony.

These include Australian Law Firm of the Year, Insurance Specialist of the Year and State/regional Firm of the Year.

The winners are set to be announced on Thursday 18 May in Sydney, following the culmination of the judging process which received hundreds of entries.
