DEVINE CONSTRUCTIONS has been awarded the contract for Pointcorp Development’s new apartment project in Brisbane.
Devine overcame a competitive tender process to secure the $105 million Vida development, featuring two 12-level buildings planned for West End.
General manager Michael Tucker says they are discussing design matters with Pointcorp before starting work in January next year.
“We are delighted to be the successful tenderers on this landmark project that will enhance the urban outcome in the area,” Tucker says.
“Apartment developments are a key focus for Devine Constructions.
“In recent years we have successfully built a number of developments in Brisbane, drawing on our expertise in design, construction and project management,” he says.
Pointcorp director Chris Vitale says Devine’s history for building high quality developments was a major advantage in the tender process.
“The company is experienced in delivering projects on time and on budget and its collaborative approach was a big drawcard,” Vitale says.
“We look forward to working together and starting construction in the New Year,” he says.
The contract follows the success of winning Chrome Properties’ Alex Perry-branded apartment development in Fortitude Valley early this year.
