Eagles soar

PERSONAL injury specialist Trilby Misso continues to expand after opening an office on the Gold Coast.

CEO Graeme McFadyen, says the law firm founded by lawyer and businessman Trilby Misso at Redcliffe in 1956 has major expansion plans after it also opened client service centres in Ipswich and at North Lakes and Morayfield on Brisbane’s northern outskirts.

McFadyen says the northern Gold Coast was one of Queensland’s fastest growing regions and it made perfect sense for the Brisbane-based firm to stamp its mark.

“Trilby Misso wants to provide highly valued services to local residents in the most rapidly growing areas of the state and the Gold Coast is one of the most important areas for this expansion,” he says.

Last year the firm won a Telstra Queensland Medium Business Award and recently received accreditation as a Hewitt Best Employer in Australia and New Zealand.

Meanwhile a strategic expansion program has resulted in a new office in the Robina Town Centre for Attwood Marshall Lawyers.

The Coolangatta headquartered firm has returned to the centre where it operated between 1998 and 2004.

Partner Jeff Garrett has confidence in the future of the Robina office and the Robina Town Centre.

“Our previous experience in the Robina market, the expansion of the centre, the population growth and development of the area generally provide the firm with significant scope for growth,” he says.

State Member for Robina, Ray Stevens opened the office and congratulated the firm on its return to the centre.

As well as the partners, the firm has 55 employees including 20 lawyers.
