CONNECTING Southern Gold Coast has beefed up its promotional campaign by uniting the region’s rapidly developing education sector under a newly-launched website.
Connecting Southern Gold Coast general manager Jim Wilson, says the Pure Green Discovery initiative brings together a range of existing providers of educational services in the culture and environment of the Southern Gold Coast.
“The website emphasises how much economic activity is generated in the Southern Gold Coast through exporting education,” says Wilson.
“We have been working for some time with the providers listed on the website.
“The aim of everyone involved has been to feature how Southern Gold Coast businesses proudly market the culture and environment of our region.
“The providers listed actually bring school children from outside the Southern Gold Coast into the region and provide them with a variety of environmental and cultural experiences.”
While the region is known for its undeveloped natural wonders, the new website bucks the trend by using the latest in multimedia technology to promote them.
“Our aim in this initiative is to encourage school groups to go to the website and structure their visit or excursion to involve one or more of the providers listed,” he says
