JIM'S EMPIRE EXPANDS TO DRONES AND PHOTOGRAPHY

NATIONAL franchisee and Australian icon, Jim's Group, has announced the establishment of a photography and drones arm.

Jim's Photography and Drones is the brainchild of two experienced photographers, Mark Hill and Matteo Rizzi, who hope the brand will become synonymous with photographic services in the country.

"Jim's is an established brand that we will leverage to develop the most trusted photographic services brand in Australia," says Rizzi.

"In a very short space of time we hope to be recognised as the only national photography brand in the country."

Like other Jim's brands, the Photography and Drones division will be a franchise opportunity for anyone looking to work in the photographic and drones services sector.

The pair expect approximately two thirds of franchisees to be female.

"Female professional photographers now outnumber men 3:2 and as such, we anticipate 60 per cent of Jim's Photography and Drones franchisee's will be women," says Hill.

Hill says the establishment of Jim's Photography and Drones reflects an increased demand from businesses and individuals who want high quality photography, videography, and drone services.

"Businesses are requesting photography services for many different reasons," says Hill.

"Whether it be to reach and influence customers through social media channels, or to promote their products and services in a professional manner."

The use of drones for photography and videography purposes has become rapidly popular. The franchisees will offer drone services for air sampling, agriculture, mining, mapping, 3D modelling, surveying, and building inspections.

"Also, virtual reality goggles and 360 degree panoramas allow for an incredibly immersive experience," says Hill.

"It's an exciting time to be involved in such a nascent industry with such potential."

Jim's group has since grown to $400 million per year franchising supergroup with over 4000 franchisee's in four countries.
