KOGAN FLIES INTO TRAVEL INDUSTRY

KOGAN has catapulted into the travel industry today with the launch of Kogan Travel, leveraging off its 2 million-strong customer base.

As of today, the Melbourne-based online marketplace will offer travel packages in addition to its already extensive offering which includes electronics, appliances, homewares and clothing.

The business is currently Australia's biggest online store by database.

Kogan Travel will offer savings up to 76 per cent from deals curated by the team with hotels, resorts and tour organisers locally and abroad.

One of the standout maiden packages is a 7-night Maldives package for 2 adults and 2 children priced at $6398, offering more than $3900 in savings.

"We've applied the same approach of digital efficiency that has seen us undercut the big players in the retail industry for nearly a decade," says Kogan founder and CEO Ruslan Kogan.

"Australians are some of the best travelled people in the world. While we are fortunate to be able to holiday, there's no reason we shouldn't get a better deal while kicking our feet up.

"The negotiating power of two million fans means we were able to curate unbeatable deals for holidays in Australia and around the world."

Kogan Travel is ATAS travel accredited and registered with AFTA, the Australian Federation of Travel Agents.
