MANTRA Group has added two now properties to its management portfolio in Queensland.
BreakFree will make its Brisbane debut when the refurbished Skyline Court is rebranded BreakFree Fortitude Valley Brisbane in March.
The property is located two kilometres from the Brisbane CBD and offers studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments in the bustling bohemia of the Valley.
Facilities include a swimming pool, barbeque and recreation area, gymnasium and secure car parking.
“We are pleased to offer our corporate and leisure clients another price point option in Brisbane and believe BreakFree Fortitude Valley is the ideal property to launch the brand in the Queensland capital,” says Mantra Group CEO, Bob East (pictured).
The resort joins Mantra South Bank and Mantra on Queen in the Group’s Brisbane network and the group now offers 420 rooms in the city. BreakFree hotels are located in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide CBDs.
Meanwhile, in Townsville, the hotel management agreement was formally signed on a brand new 185-room hotel, to be called Mantra Townsville.
The four-star corporate hotel, set for completing in 2016, boasts conference facilities for up to 500 delegates, in both boardroom and conference settings, catering to the region’s demand from the mining resources sector and overall expansion.
“The Townsville market is definitely ready for a new project like this and with Mantra being one of Australia’s most dynamic hotel brands we are pleased to have a presence in this fast developing region,” he said.
Mantra Townsville will have 185 hotel rooms and plus leisure facilities including a pool, gym and spa.
Further additions to the Mantra network include apartment hotels in Brisbane and Melbourne which are expected to be formally announced by April.
The new hotels follow the addition of Peppers Dunmore Brisbane, set to open in 2015, and Peppers Docklands Melbourne in 2016.
The amount Mantra has paid for the rights to these properties is undisclosed.
