MFS added to S&P/ASX 200

FINANCIAL services group MFX Limited (ASX: MFS) joined the benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index on October 18.

MFS managing director Phil Adams says entry into the SA&P/ASX 200 was one of the major objectives set for MFS in 2006/07.

"It is extremely pleasing and gratifying to be part of the Australian sharemarket benchmark index and we think it reflects all the hard work and effort that has gone into building MFS over the years," he says.

October was also a significant month for MFS as its third annual MFS Charity Ball and Pink Polo Day raised more than $450,000 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

It took the total amount raised for the foundation by MFS during the past three years to $1 million.
