NEW WEBSITE BOOSTS DIGITAL BUSINESS

NEW WEBSITE BOOSTS DIGITAL BUSINESS

BRISBANE City Council has launched a website to boost the city’s small to medium businesses, as part of a new digital strategy.

The website digitalbrisbane.com.au features digital news, events and expert technical support videos and blogs, designed to position Brisbane as a digital leader and connect with industries globally.

Lord Mayor Graham Quirk (pictured) says it was designed to help local companies compete in the digital economy.

“Through an audit of 500 Brisbane businesses, we found local businesses needed to use digital technology to more actively engage their customers.

“I encourage Brisbane businesses to visit the site for practical digital information, the latest digital news and expert blog posts and videos; all of which will help them harness digital into their day-to-day practices,” he says.

The website also includes a directory of digital companies offering their services for interested businesses.

Quirk says any Brisbane business owners incorporating digital technology, should contact the team to be listed online.

“Digitalbrisbane.com.au contains a series of case studies, videos and profiles of Brisbane businesses using digital to grow and prosper and we hope this information will inspire other businesses,” he says.
