PARTNERSHIP ON TARGET FOR GROWTH

THE capabilities of two specialist engineering corporations are set to be pushed to the next level under a new partnership.

A deal has been struck between OSD Pipelines and process engineering specialists Procom Consultants to provide what has been dubbed a seamless project management, engineering and execution service.

Procom director Steve Yeardley says the handshake will allow the two companies to pitch for target projects in the vicinity of $25 to $50 million on Australian soil.

He says the concept will be implemented through an integrated team of 100 engineering consultants and total manpower from both groups of about 200.

“This certainly adds value to both groups,

“The combined capabilities give us enormous scope,” says Yeardley.

OSD Pipelines Queensland general manager Martin Axelby (pictured) says the deal will provide Queensland and the broader markets with complete solutions for all oil and gas projects, from concept selection through to commissioning operations support.

“This alliance reinforces an ongoing relationship between the two engineering firms,” he says.

“By bringing together a serious number of Brisbane-based engineers, it will ensure the necessary resources and capabilities are locked in to undertake large work scopes.”

The deal will scoop project work including conceptual studies, front end engineering design, detailed design, project handover and commissioning.
