PASTIFICIO Fellini has reopened its newly refurbished fresh pasta outlet at Marina Mirage.
The store is owned and managed by award-winning Italian restaurateurs the Percuoco family and partners Raffaele Di Benedetto and Richard Burt, who produce artisan-style pasta in the best Italian traditions.
Pastificio Fellini director Carlo Percuoco says customers now have the unique opportunity to watch pasta being created first hand in the newly refitted shop.
“We are pleased with the re-opening of the store and are very happy with the refurbishment. People can come into the store to buy the finest pasta and to view the process of making the pasta with an open plan design to showcase our pasta-making facilities,” he says.
“The secret ingredient for our pasta is time and passion. The drying period for our pasta takes a minimum of 18 hours and we actually dry the pasta from inside out, a very unique quality.”
The Gold Coast-based boutique pasta factory has experienced rapid growth in the fine food industry, fuelled by demand created from word of mouth. The award-winning business also wholesales nationally and internationally, with a strong clientele in Sydney, Melbourne and throughout southeast Queensland.
Carlo and his partners Tony Percuoco, Raffaele Di Benedetto, Anna Cacace and Richard Burt operate the Pastificio Fellini pasta store behind their award-winning Italian Restaurant, Fellini at Marina Mirage on the Gold Coast.
