QPCU banks on SMS

QUEENSLAND Police Credit Union (QPCU) has introduced SMS banking to its operations and plans to increase its internet presence to keep up with the growing needs of members.

CEO Grant Devine says while SMS banking is not new, it is a significant step forward and a large investment considering the credit union’s size.

"Part of my agenda when I joined QPCU was to review the services our members lacked and SMS banking was high on that list. Now our members will be able to receive account updates and make enquiries wherever they are and whatever they may be doing," says Devine.

"Our online banking is the way most of our members outside of Brisbane access their accounts and we will be sharing some news with our members about an exciting and improved QPCU website in the very near future."
