QUEST UNVEILS NEW BRISBANE LOCATION

QUEST Serviced Apartments has unveiled Quest Kelvin Grove, hot on the heels of the accommodation provider's opening in Toowoomba earlier this month.

Located in Kelvin Grove Urban Village, the new property forms part of Quest's strategic focus in Queensland.

The company will notch 10 locations in the state next quarter, following the opening of Quest Chermside in September.

Quest CEO Zed Sanjana says the company is well positioned in each location to snare holidaymakers.

"In the 2013-2014 financial year, Brisbane received in excess of five million domestic visitors, with an expenditure upwards of $3 billion, according to Tourism and Events Queensland," Sanjana says.

"Brisbane's population has been growing at an exponential rate, with the ABS predicting growth will continue to outstrip the rates of both Melbourne and Sydney.

"I am very confident in the success of our Brisbane properties, as accommodation demand in the city continues to exceed supply."

Sanjana says Quest is set to benefit from a raft of infrastructure developments announced, including the 1 William Street skyscraper, Queensland schools project and Queensland Rail upgrades.

Quest Kelvin Grove features 85 studio, one, two and three bedroom serviced apartments, as well as onsite parking and conference room facilities.

Franchisees Gary Lin and Suzie Yang say they have already received a positive response from the local community and business sector.

"It's exciting to see the growth that has occurred in Kelvin Grove over the past few years, especially within the Urban Village," Lin says.

"It's the ideal location for the new Quest property as accommodation options were previously very limited."

Quest has 11 properties across Australia scheduled to open, including in Newcastle, Chatswood and Perth.
