RFG TO BUILD GLOBAL HQ ON GOLD COAST

RFG TO BUILD GLOBAL HQ ON GOLD COAST

RETAIL Food Group (ASX:RFG) has snapped up the old Gold Coast Bulletin building, confirming it will transform the old printing press into a global headquarters.

RFG will consolidate its Gold Coast operations following the settlement of two News Limited-owned properties, which were sold following an offers to purchase campaign by Ray White Industrial Gold Coast.

The sites sit at 4 Industrial Avenue and 385 Southport-Nerang Road, Molendinar.

RFG CEO of franchise Andre Nell (pictured) says the acquisition will provide the company with long-term stability and future growth opportunities.

"RFG is excited to be strengthening its global headquarters on the Gold Coast through the development of this new facility," says Nell.

"The site will comfortably accommodate RFG's long term expansion aspirations which include the centralisation of franchisee support, training and manufacturing operations, providing long term security for the company."

The new facility will house office staff, manufacturing, distribution and product development facilities.
