VALLEY HOTEL HAS VICTORY IN ITS SIGHTS

A LUXURY Fortitude Valley hotel will be competing for the top spot at the 30th annual Queensland Tourism Awards (QTAs) alongside 200 other state tourism businesses.

Having taken out Luxury Accommodation awards at the QTAs in 2012 and 2013, the Emporium Hotel aims to seize the trifecta, bringing the business one accolade closer to a place in the industry hall of fame list.

The QTAs is the state’s most prestigious tourism honour program, and Emporium General Manager Peter Savoff says winning past awards has given his business the spirited marketing edge.

“As an independent boutique property, winning prestigious industry recognition programs such as the Queensland Tourism Awards has increased our brand awareness and showcased our luxury product in a highly competitive market,” says Savoff.

“The process of preparing a Queensland Tourism Award submission provides the opportunity to review our strategic approach and enhance how we deliver exquisite stays.”

The 2014 results will be announced on Friday 28 November in Brisbane at the Royal International Convention Centre.

Gold Award recipients will automatically be in the running for the esteemed national title to be awarded early next year.
