WINTER RACING CARNIVAL HEATS UP

HOLD on to your hats for this year’s Winter Racing Carnival as Moreton Hire and the Queensland Turf Club (QTC) up the stakes with a seriously stylish trackside setup to compete with Millionaire’s Row, the main feature of the famed Birdcage at Flemington, Melbourne.

Work is well under way at Moreton Hire for the creative design and individual concepts of the corporate tents for the main events of the Winter Racing Carnival – Conrad Treasury Queensland Oaks Ladies’ Day (30 May) and the AAMI Stradbroke Day (6 June).

Managing Director of Moreton Hire, Neil Morahan, said together with the QTC, Moreton Hire was going to change the face of racing in Brisbane with unseen levels of decadence and guest lists to match.

"The whole look and feel of the Winter Racing Carnival is going to be renewed with strong emphasis on design, elegance and classic race day glamour. Our design team is drawing inspiration from the elaborate decoration and construction seen in Europe and Moreton Hire’s own tent on AAMI Stradbroke Day is going to be unlike anything ever seen in Brisbane," says Morahan.
