DOMINO'S DELIVERS HQ AT HAMILTON

DOMINO’S Pizza has relocated its headquarters from Albion in Brisbane’s north east to the city’s inner north harbour precinct of Hamilton.

Domino’s CEO and managing director, Don Meij (pictured) says the new premises, secured in a property deal by agents Jones Lang LaSalle, will accommodate for expanding business operations.

“As we continue to grow and bring key functions of our business in-house we need additional space to cater for our expanding team,” says Meij.

The new premises fits an extra 60 staff, bringing the total to 150, and expands the previous premises of 1,600 square metres to 2,513 square metres.

The fit out is across two levels and has a ‘test kitchen’ where pizza recipes are designed.

Proximity to the airport and CBD was another deciding factor to move into the KSD1 precinct, a $500 million Hamilton Harbour development by Devine and Leighton Properties.

“KSD1 is in close proximity to both the Brisbane CBD and Brisbane Airport. We welcome both interstate and overseas travelers regularly so this was a driving attraction to the corridor,” says Meij.

Construction and design of the Domino’s headquarters was completed over 18 months, with Domino’s working closely with Cottee Parker and Amicus Interiors to deliver the project.

The new headquarters oversees the operation of Domino’s franchise network of 570 stores across Australia and New Zealand.
