HILTON SYDNEY EXPANDS EVENT OFFERING

EVENT organisers at Hilton Sydney are saying goodbye to print-outs of agendas, speaker bios and directions and hello to Event Briefcase, a new app putting events in the palm of people's hands.

In partnership with event management company Staging Connections, Hilton Sydney has launched a free event app that enables greater attendee engagement and interaction.

Event Briefcase ultimately takes a portion of the event organiser's workload and simplifies the process while putting valuable event information in the hands of attendees in real-time.

The app is accessible by any client who hires Staging Connections AV or equipment for their conference or event with Hilton Hotel Sydney.

General Manager of Hilton Hotel Sydney, Ronald van Weezel says the partnership represents the next phase of event management in Australia.

"We are pleased to see our partners keeping up with the demand for innovative and new generational ways of thinking and working," he says.

"In February 2017, the redevelopment on Hilton conferencing and events spaces will be complete, offering more benefits for our clients. We're excited to utilise and encourage the use of Event Briefcase in our next phase."

The conferencing and event redevelopment headed by acclaimed designer, Joseph Pang will continue throughout 2016 - with phase one of floor two already complete.

Levels three and four will undergo works throughout the remainder of the year, with the project set for completion in February 2017.

Further enhancing the new conferencing and events offerings, Hilton Sydney has launched Book More Get More packages, allowing clients to earn add-ons or discounts to their event bookings.
