Localsearch earns its stripes as Google Premier Partner

Daniel Stoten, CEO of Localsearch, believes that when it comes to running an online business, change isn't the enemy.

Localsearch is an online hub which has been connecting businesses and people throughout regional Australia for almost 25 years.

During that time Stoten (pictured) has been on the front lines, building the Localsearch platform to service more than 200 cities and towns, as well as create jobs for more than 150 employees.

As the online environment has changed, Stoten says the success of his company has boiled down to its commitment to continual improvement.

"I've never been one to shy away from change. In fact, I welcome it," says Stoten.

"Change allows innovation, new ideas and provides opportunity to thrive. When we continually improve what we do, and how we do it, our clients are the ones who benefit."

Localsearch was recently named a Google Premier Partner, an accolade which recognises specialists in the field of online marketing and Google AdWords.

Stoten says the achievement is a significant step for the company, one which reflects the skill and dedication of the Localsearch team.

"Becoming a Google Premier Partner gives us access to so much more knowledge that will only benefit our clients," says Stoten.

"But the value in this accreditation is so much more than just a badge. Our Search & Marketing Specialists have undergone extensive training and aren't just knowledgeable, they're fully certified in all aspects of Google AdWords advertising products.

"This means even more resources and services to help our clients get found easier online."

Stoten is proud of how far the Localsearch team has come since its humble beginnings out of a rented office space in Rockhampton almost 25 years ago.

"I couldn't be prouder of our achievement," he says.

"The hard work by the Localsearch family is a testament to our passion for regional Aussie businesses and a direct reflection of the character and culture that has shaped and built our business to everything it is today. Brilliant effort."
