SPACES OPENS UP IN SYDNEY

THERE'S a new brand in co-working in Sydney and it's come all the way from Amsterdam.

Spaces has launched this week in Surry Hills at 111 Flinders Street, occupying 1517sqm over two floors.

This is the first Sydney location for Spaces, the second in Australia, and continues the brand's global expansion following its most recent launch in New York.

It's a co-working veteran, pioneered in Amsterdam in 2006.

Inside Spaces Sydney is 47 private offices, 222 custom-designed office seats, three meeting rooms, a large outdoor terrace and a spacious co-working space.

It has the perks of art covered walls, from the Centre for Contemporary Photographer, high ceilings, designer furniture and complimentary freshly ground coffee.

Community developer at Spaces, Margot Van Der Poel, says it's the brand's desire to expand a distinctive philosophy of a 'lifestyle driven environment'.

"Just like every one of our offerings, Spaces Sydney delivers an inspiring, quality workplace platform, where Australian entrepreneurs and business professionals can network with like-minded people and make lasting connections," says Van Der Poel.

"It offers a unique 'creative community workspace' that is relaxed and informal, while at the same time curating a productive and professional environment."

Van Der Poel says Spaces sees a gap in the market between serviced office providers and co-working hubs.

She says the community is ideal for SMEs, entrepreneurs and corporate 'intrapreneurs' who would like one, six or 12 month contracts, with memberships starting from $350 per month.
