WHAT'S COOKING THIS WORLD HEALTH DAY?
THE WORK-LIFE solutions go-to for corporates like Virgin Australia, Downer and CBRE says its portal has gone into overdrive as employees seek one thing in particular.

Sydney-based organisation SeventeenHundred provides work-life, diversity and inclusion solutions for some of our biggest companies and their employees.

It draws on a database of more than 160,000 professionals to help companies maintain better relationships with employees.

The work-life balance specialise says nearly a third of survey respondents 32 per cent were most interested in hunting its information portal for quick and healthy meal recipes.

Fiona Hitchiner, director of SeventeenHundred, says this no doubt has parallels with time poverty, something we should all be watching out for this World Health Day.

"The top five work-life challenges employees face are: time management, exercise, work, cooking/diet and sleep," says Hitchiner.

"Based on the survey responses, it would seem that many Australian employers are not aware of the strain that employees face in meeting their nutrition and health goals.

"These outcomes from the SeventeenHundred Work & Life Hub present the real desire, yet simple demand for employers to offer the guidance and support in meeting basic lifestyle goals and attaining work-life balance for employees.

"It takes just a few small steps daily to help maintain a healthy way of life."
