Non-executive director of RSPCA Queensland Alison Sherry has joined the team, backed by 25 years of experience in professional services and health in the public and private sectors.
Sherry will come on board immediately after the company's listing on the ASX, which will most likely occur in early August.The company has this week been briefing investors about its plan to take the pet care industry by providing management and back office systems that remove administration for clinic owners and veterinarians.
Sherry says she is looking forward to growing her interest in the consolidating and developing Australian pet care industry."As a pure-play veterinary services business, NVC will occupy an important position in the Australian pet care industry as the sector consolidates and develops," she says.
The founding NVC board consists of non-executive director of G8 Education Susan Forrester, previous Greencross executive director and operations and acquisitions manager speciality and emergency Stephen Coles, and former founding Greencross CFO Wes Coote.The management team comprises Katherine Barker, previous Greencross financial controller who is in this capacity at NVC; Robert Skoda, former group area manager for Greencross' animal emergency services who will head up operations; and CEO Tomas Steenackers.
