Wallabies Captain Michael Hooper named global brand ambassador for Bondi Vite

A producer of vitamins for professional and everyday athletes Bondi Vite has named Captain of the Wallabies Michael Hooper (pictured) as its global brand ambassador.

The Sydney-based company, founded by former professional rugby player Damien Fitzpatrick, says Hooper's status as one of Australia's leading sportspeople was in perfect alignment with Bondi Vite's values.

"As Wallabies Captain, Michael is one of Australia's most iconic athletes. His character both on and off the field make him a perfect fit for the Bondi Vite brand," says Fitzpatrick.

The appointment of Hooper is a major coup for Bondi Vite which was launched just last year, and coincides with the brand's launch into Singapore and South East Asia.

The company formulates premium grade vitamin products for the global health market that use active ingredients.

Fitzpatrick aims to reposition the attitude towards boutique health brands by producing formulations of clinical strength for a market of amateur and professional athletes.

The company's initial range includes ten premium, high-potency vitamin products attributed to a broad scope of health benefits including high-strength men's and women's energy multivitamins, fish oil, turmeric and magnesium.

"When we launched Bondi Vite last year, I felt the best way to introduce our company values was through a range of high-strength products that covered a broader spectrum of health benefits," says Fitzpatrick.

"From the outset, I wanted to formulate products fit for use by elite athletes but also help people live actively.

"Our new product additions will begin to narrow this focus and target the benefits associated with performance we have some exciting things in the pipeline."

Hooper says he is excited to work with Bondi Vite as a brand ambassador; a company that shares his passion for health, well-being and performance.

"Bondi Vite are striving to be a leader in the vitamin and wellness industry, that desire for success built off products of the highest quality is something that really resonated with me," says Hooper.

"I've followed their journey with interest since launching last year. Their commitment to producing high strength vitamin products gives me the confidence to know that Bondi Vite products can support my rugby career and my lifestyle.

"The values and vision of Damien and his team made the decision to join the team at Bondi Vite a simple one I'm excited to be a part of what's in store."
