Australian fitness technology company Evolt 360 is ramping up its global expansion plans after securing a supplier agreement with GoodLife Fitness Canada, the fourth largest fitness club and gym operator in the world.
The deal, which brings the company’s technology to GoodLife’s 650,000 members across nearly 200 clubs, is among three major contracts recently secured by the Gold Coast-based Evolt 360.
The company has also established a non-exclusive distribution partnership with Australian premium fitness equipment company Matrix Fitness and a preferred supplier agreement with the Gold Coast-born Jetts 24 Hour Fitness Australia.
The Matrix agreement opens the way for Evolt to distribute its products in the Philippines, India and Indonesia.
Founded in 2018 by sports promoter Ed Zouroudis and fitness industry guru Kelly Weideman, Evolt 360 has developed a range of medically graded machines that employ bioimpedance technology to provide comprehensive insights into body composition health.
The technology provides users full insight into their body compositions through more than 40 metrics including lean muscle mass, subcutaneous fat, visceral fat and water retention.
GoodLife Fitness Canada will use Evolt 360’s technology as a personal training assessment tool to develop customised training plans for its members. The company already uses Evolt 360 technology at 25 of its locations.
The latest agreements come on the heels of a $12 million capital raise secured by Evolt 360 last year which was backed by Regal Funds Management, Washington H. Soul Pattinson (ASX: SOL) and Smarter Capital.
It also builds on the company’s existing ties with Anytime Fitness, 24 Hour Fitness, World Gym, Exponential Fitness, Virgin Active and health insurer HCF.
Zouroudis, the Evolt 360 CEO, describes the latest agreements as milestones for the company as its product reach now extends to 42 countries and nearly two million registered users.

The heady growth experienced by Evolt 360 led Weideman to win the coveted Trailblazer Award at the 2022 Gold Coast Young Entrepreneur Awards.

Evolt 360’s growth has been further aided by partnerships with international medical universities and allied health professionals as the company seeks to advance health monitoring technology worldwide.
The company’s expansion is supported by its machines being registered with the US Food and Drug Administration and a listing on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods. They are also CE approved for distribution in the European Union.
